Fun Facts About Me

My name is Samantha Marie.

I was born in a small town in Maine in 1972.

I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) Type I in 1973 at 18 months of age.

I spent most of my childhood on a small homestead in central Maine.

I like nature, especially trees and the smell of forest dirt.

Grover from Sesame Street is my best friend and hero.

I graduated from Husson College with two Bachelor’s Degrees with high honors.

I went to Japan for a summer at the invitation of a dear friend.

I have two children from Siberia who also have EDS.

I moved into a nursing home at the age of 43.

I started this blog.

I’m still evolving.
